Brad Sent Rachel Zoe An Hermes Baby Gift, Never Got A Thank You Card

Brad Goreski continued his whirlwind of a press tour this morning by appearing on The Wendy Williams Show, where he was once again asked about his former boss Rachel Zoe. But this time, after giving the same measured response he has in the last few interviews, he revealed that he’s a bit peeved with her (non) response to his baby gift.

First up, Brad on their feud, so to speak.

“You know, this is the thing. I love Rachel, I respect her deeply, I think she’s deeply talented, and I loved my time working with her. The problem is, when you assist somebody, the intention is to assist somebody for a period of time and then go off on your own and use those skills. Which is what I did. I was with her for three years and, um, I loved her. And I have to say, it was a little disappointing to me the way it was handled. I gave two-and-a-half months notice.”

Wendy then asked if he’d seen the baby, to which Brad responded that no, he hadn’t, but he had sent a gift.

Brad: “I sent an Hermès tower. It had three baby toys in it.”

Wendy: “Did it get returned?”

Brad: “It did not get returned. It also didn’t come back with a thank-you note.”

Ouch.

Rach needs to grow up, she is too old to be acting so immature.
    It’s a Brad Brad world!!!

I’m with Brad at least on the gift thing.  After this past holiday season, I am about to swear off giving gifts.  After spending close to a thousand dollars, I received TWO, count ‘em, TWO thank you texts….and one was from an 18 year old.  I just moved to a different state so all my gifts this year had to be mailed.  Friends and family couldn’t even be bothered to acknowledge that the packages arrived.  I’m not asking for anyone to slobber over me, but what happened to common curtesy?  I thank my mother for the values she instilled in me years ago.  Whenever I received a gift, I wasn’t allowed to play/use it until the thank you note had been written.  Yeah, I’m old to remember actually placing ink on dead trees, but especially in this day and age when communication with the world is instantaneous, there is simply no excuse for this sort of…well, rudeness.    Thank you for letting me get that off my chest.  But tell me, am I wrong?

Somehow Brad was far more compelling as Rachel’s sidekick as opposed to being the focus of an hour-long infomercial for the fact that he needs more styling work http://bit.ly/wQtvId
