PHOTOS: Brad Goreski Goes As Tavi For Halloween
Last night, while we were hanging out with our roommate’s dog and deciding whether or not we really need a new cable knit scarf, Brad Goreski was shutting it down at the Lanvin Halloween Extravaganza. And because he knew his costume would be going up against those of seriously well-dressed people like Janet Jackson and former boss Rachel Zoe, he knew ahead of time that his costume had to be amazing. And who’s more amazing than Tavi Gevinson?
Unlike a lot of people who dress up as celebrities for Halloween, Goreski’s costume was spectacularly on-point. From the glasses to the purple-gray hair to the cardigan and layers of skirts, Brad looked like Tavi, but grown-man sized. And also kind of postmodern, in a really strange way.
We saw these photos on Twitter last night, and Goreski duly thanked Gevinson for inspiring his costume. This morning, she tweeted back:

There’s nothing better than an original, but a spot-on throwback is a thing divine.
