WATCH: Brian Williams Declares Obama A Sartorial Trend-Setter

President Obama is many things, but one thing we wouldn’t have pegged him for is a trend-setter. However, as the ever-so-stylish Brian Williams points out, Obama is actually quite the fashion-forward leader of the first world.

Fun fact: one of the perks of being the President of the United States is getting personalized jackets, one of which reads “Commander In Chief”. On last night’s Rock Center, Williams pointed out that government officials like New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo have “Air Force One jacket envy” and have been sporting their own personalized outwear à la Obama. But Christie takes the whole personalization thing to a new level with a branded yarmulke. “Let’s see if the President can top that,” Williams said.
