Candice Swanepoel Goes Curly And Kinky For Terry Richardson

Victoria’s Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel is decked out in latex, leather, lamé, and, of course, a few pairs of aviators for her latest editorial lensed by Terry Richardson in the June 2012 issue of Vogue Japan .

The South African looks very Seventies golden girl in a pair of Balenciaga‘s uber-short shorts, her usual sleek waves transformed into a mop of tight curls by hairstylist Duffy. She also sports looks by Christopher Kane, Emilio Pucci (does lingerie count as a “look”?), and a variation of the Prada bodysuit we last spotted on Kate Upton in a shoot by…well, what do you know? Terry again! You’d think he was into hot blondes in skimpy outfits or something.

We’ve been trying to play connect-the-dots with the props in this shoot (a giant crayon, a shower head, diner stools, and a swordfish) but we have to admit we’re somewhat at a loss here. Ideas anyone? The editorial is called “The Girl Can’t Help It” if that sheds even a glimmer of light.
