Cara Delevingne Would ‘Love To Be Doing What Meryl Streep Is Doing’

Not content to rest on her laurels as a British Vogue cover girl, face of Burberry, aspiring musician, and possible future umbrella maker, Cara Delevingne has set herself some very lofty goals for her next career move.
In her latest Vogue video interview, she tells the magazine that her passion really lies in acting, and that she’d really like to emulate Meryl Streep. Well, either her, Judi Dench, or Charlize Theron, who Delevingne looks up to because she started her career as a model and transitioned into serious movies like Monster, in which she “plays a real thug.”
Delevingne would like follow Theron’s lead and go the “ugly” route with her roles, perhaps using her talent for off-the-wall faces to play a “crazy cave woman or a possessed demon-child”. She’s even got her directors of choice all picked out: “Scorsese, Tarantino, Spielberg, any of you, Peter Jackson — I’m here! I’m ready! I can do funny faces; I can sing; I can dance. Hire me!”
What do you think? Do we have ourselves a Meryl in the making?
