PHOTO: Cara Delevingne Lands A LOVE-ly Cover

We’re glad to see that model of the moment Cara Delevingne is making a serious face on the cover of LOVE‘s “Clean” issue, if only because we were starting to get worried that she was proving the old adage “don’t cross your eyes or they’ll stay that way” true. Silly faces may be the 20-year-old’s signature move, but clearly she knows how to give a doe-eyed stare with the best of them.

The magazine posted a preview on their Facebook page today, and with their history of multiple covers per issue (Downton Abbey cast, anyone?) there’s no doubt this is only the first of several to come. The black and white shot was taken by Sølve Sundsbø and Cara indeed looks clean as clean can be, in minimal makeup and a pair of glitzy earrings.

And we’re sure she was pretty pleased that she didn’t have to pose with a spider on her face this time around.
