Carey Mulligan Is Now A Married Woman!
Mazel tov! The 26-year-old actress wed beau Marcus Mumford, frontman of indie band Mumford & Sons, in a rustic ceremony in the English countryside yesterday. Rustic, yes, but still decidedly fabulous. Guests included Jake Gyllenhaal, Sienna Miller, and Colin Firth, while the wedding photographer was fashion and celebrity lensman Rankin.
No pictures of the dress have been released yet, but it is described as a simple backless ivory Versace number. The Daily Mail claims the bridesmaids wore “turquoise knee-length prom dresses with matching blue high-heels,” but we’re gonna go ahead and assume they were not really prom dresses unless Mulligan and Mumford were going for some kind of weird theme wedding.
In any case, we’re sure the ceremony and the bride were both gorgeous. After all, we already know she looks good in ivory.
