PHOTOS: The Barneys Fall Campaign Is A Roitfeld Family Affair

Just call Carine Roitfeld a Barneys triple threat. Not only did she act as stylist and guest editor for the fall ad campaign and catalog, she also modeled for it.

She collaborated with photo Mario Sorrenti and creative director Dennis Freedman on the project that may or may not be called “Carine’s World”. (Relatedly, she’s also collaborating with Freedman on a concept for the fall windows!) But Roitfeld knows a thing or two about being in front of the camera — she was a model back in the day. We’ve only seen one leaked image of our favorite French editrix, and she’s definitely working it.

We’re still waiting on that karaoke bar, but this will do for now.

UPDATE: Courtesy of Women’s Wear Daily, we now have some actual pics from the campaign, which is indeed called “Carine’s World”! Carine herself appears on the cover of Barneys’ women’s designer book in Rick Owens, and she even got her kids Julia and Vladimir to join in on the fun. So good.
