BREAKING: It’s A Girl For Carla Bruni!

Oh, happy day! Carla Bruni has reportedly given birth to a baby girl!

According to Reuters, Bruni gave birth to a baby girl at 2PM EST this afternoon at La Muette maternity clinic in Paris. Bruni was rumored to have booked three rooms in the exclusive clinic earlier this month. Bruni’s husband, French president Nicholas Sarkozy, visited her at the clinic around 5PM, though reports say he could only stay for half an hour before heading off to a meeting in Frankfurt with German chancellor Angela Merkel.

This is Bruni’s second child and her first with Sarkozy. Bruni said previously that she plans to never show photos of her child.
