PHOTOS: Carla Bruni Looks Really Happy About Her Baby Bump

After weeks of speculation and comments about her pregnancy, French First Lady Carla Bruni is finally walking around without trying to conceal her protruding tummy.

The proud mother-to-be walked up to a reception for spouses of the Heads of Delegation at the G8 Summit in Deauville, France earlier today, wearing a chic white sheath dress and a black coat which she left unbuttoned. Christian Louboutin kitten heels completed the look, which is probably the chicest ensemble we’ve ever seen a pregnant woman wear. And she probably didn’t get any of it from H&M.

But it’s the fact that she’s not even trying to hide the bump anymore that we’re so happy about — she even appears to be joking about it with Geertrui Van Rompuy-Windels, wife of European Council President Herman Van Rompuy-Windels. (That’s slide two.)

Ugh. This child (whether it’s a boy or a girl) is going to be so effing chic we already can’t stand it.
