PHOTOS: Carla Hall From Top Chef Used To Be A Model!

If there’s anything we here at Styleite love as much as we love fashion, it’s food. And we freak out a little when we can combine the two. So imagine the squeals of glee emitted in our office when we found these photos of Top Chef contestant Carla Hall as a model!

Hall has talked about her modeling career before, but we hadn’t seen photos until she released a selection of her shots to iVillage. Hall’s route to modeling was sort of untraditional. She got an accounting degree from Howard in the mid-80s and worked as a CPA for a few years before jetting off to Paris, London and Milan to walk the catwalk. She fell in love with food in those cities, but not before she took some pretty stunning photos. You can check a few of them out below.

    Awesome. I tried googling her modelling shots when she mentioned her past recently on Top Chef, but I came up empty handed.

    Awsome503 is correct. Carla received a degree from Howard, not Harvard.

    Back when Carla was on “Top Chef” the first time around, she mentioned her modeling career and they showed two photos that were stunning. I had to “pause” in order to see them clearly but I did see them. These are also very nice.

    And, yes, I think Carla has her degree from Howard and not Harvard, although there is nothing wrong with having a degree from Howard.
