Carol Alt Will Promote A ‘Healthy Lifestyle’ On New Fox Show

Supermodel Carol Alt may have had her heyday in the 80s, but she’s found ample space in recent years to continue her career, strutting the runway at Norisol Ferrari, for example, and posing for her first Playboy cover in 2008. Now the woman that Life Magazine dubbed “The Face” is turning her much-lauded visage towards the TV cameras, and will be hosting a show on (of all places) Fox with a focus on healthy living.

Says Fox’s VP of Executive Programming, Bill Shine: “Living well is an important topic for discussion. As a renowned supermodel, Carol has embodied a healthy lifestyle for years and will bring both informative and helpful ideas to our viewers.”

A proponent of the raw food lifestyle and author of a cookbook on the same topic, Alt appeared on Fox to promote her diet not too long ago, and The Hollywood Reporter has the clip. It makes for some slightly awkward viewing, watching the gorgeous and effusive model field dopey questions from the buttoned-up suits at Fox — but since Alt will be running the ship at her new gig, there will hopefully be significantly fewer of those forced encounters.
