Rudy Giuliani’s Daughter Arrested For Shoplifting!

Around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Caroline Giuliani, daughter of former mayor Rudy Giuliani, was arrested for shoplifting at an NYC Sephora, officials told the New York Times.

A salesperson and store security guard caught Giuliani, 20, stuffing five items worth over $100 of beauty products into her coat pocket in the Sephora outpost located on the Upper East Side at 86th Street near Lexington Ave. The salesperson called 911 and held her until officers arrived. The alleged shoplifting was also caught on the store’s security cameras.

According to the article, store’s management told authorities that no charges will be pressed against Giuliani. As of Wednesday night, criminal charges had not been filed. “Once we review the case, we will decide whether or not to file a criminal compliant,” said Erin Duggan, a spokeswoman for the Manhattan district attorney.

Giuliani’s court date is scheduled to take place August 31. A spokesperson for Rudy Giuliani asked the media to “respect the privacy of his daughter at this time.” And while we definitely understand Giuliani’s concern, we can’t help but wonder: Has NYC found its Winona?
