Model Caroline Trentini Got Married And Her Dress Looks Very Familiar

Brazilian model Caroline Trentini got married to photographer Fabio Bartelt this weekend. Congrats, we say! But doesn’t that wedding dress look a little familiar?

Olivier Theyskens made Trentini’s gown, which bore more than a passing resemblance to Kate Middleton‘s now-iconic Alexander McQueen by Sarah Burton number. Neither is the most original of designs, but each has lace sleeves, a sweetheart bodice, a lace V-neck, and a full skirt. We happen to think Duchess Catherine wins in this case — Trentini’s gown is too big on her and that skirt needs some major steaming.

I think it might be wrinkled because in a traditional Latin wedding mass, the bride and groom kneel before the priest – sometimes for the duration of the entire ceremony.  If they had a Catholic service, Caroline might have been sitting on that gown for at least half an hour.  And I think she looks beautiful – the gown fits her nicely!  Kate looked gorgeous, too, and perhaps inspired Caroline’s gown, but so what?  It’s not like they’re feuding starlets who showed up at the Oscars in the same dress, you know?

come on the satin comes wrinkled.. it’s simply the texture of the fabric.

I love both women. Carol has been one of my fave models since time immemorial. I don’t care if her gown is a copy, all I know is she looked gorgeous. Happy and gorgeous. Wrinkled skirt or not, Carol rocked it.

Gosh, did she SLEEP in it or what!!! That skirt is a wrinkled mess! The bodice fit is terrible too. Just goes to show being a model doesn’t make you perfect.

That’s awfully handy information, I can say I did the similar thing whilst I detected the equivalent trouble as the one who is speaking.
