Carrie Underwood Reveals Shopping Regrets In June Issue Of Glamour
Country superstar Carrie Underwood covers the June issue of Glamour looking artfully disheveled in a coral shirt-dress and gold necklace. Though certainly sunnier, does Underwood’s open-mouth pose remind anyone else of Kristen Stewart‘s signature look?
Ben Watts photographed the songstress in fancy wares like Rochas, Isabel Marant, and Michael Kors, posing on and around unfancy things like a chair and a rusty car. Inside the issue, Underwood talks about being down-to-earth, doing her own chores, and most interestingly, her buyer’s remorse:
Glamour: What was the first big, irresponsible, awesome purchase you made when your career took off?
Carrie Underwood: My first stupid purchase was an accident. I was in Paris and went into one of those big, name-brand, fancy-schmancy designers, and I picked up a sweatshirt. Maybe I didn’t understand the price tag. I’m really bad with numbers. But when I went to check out, that sucker was $2,000.
Glamour: Two thousand dollars for a sweatshirt! What was it made of?
Carrie Underwood: Not cashmere but thicker than cotton. I’ve worn it twice.
Yikes. And we feel bad about a cheese-y looking sundress we bought at Zara last week.
