While we’ve been giving you easy-peasy Halloween costume ideas , Anna Dello Russo Padma Lakshmi Heidi Klum plotting their over-the-top ensembles . When it comes to dressing for Halloween, a simple store-bought costume just won’t do it for celebs, and a standout look requires lots of planning, hair extensions, and probably a fashion assistant or two.
Dello Russo stayed true to her personality with a incredibly fashionable (and undoubtedly controversial) pope ensemble complete with headgear, sunnies in the shape of a cross, and a golden sunburst fixture attached to her back. Lakshmi channeled her inner witch in an LBD, pointy hat, and blue wig, while Pretty Little Liar ‘s Lucy Hale was an adorable My Little Pony with an all-pink ensemble and furry rainbow-colored boots.
