Lots of brands and individuals in the fashion industry have been quick to find ways to donate money to the people and institutions still reeling from the tsunami and earthquake that struck Japan last month. But strength lies in numbers, which is why we’re especially excited by the way members of the Council of Fashion Designers of America have banded together to auction off over 100 fashion-filled lots and prizes, like front row seats at fashion shows and meetings with some of our favorite designers. All of the proceeds will go to benefit The Japan Society, and we’ve included some of our favorite lots below. The auction started on Charity Buzz yesterday and will close on April 28th. If you had the money, which one of these awesome packages would you bid on?
All proceeds go to Japan Society’s Japan Earthquake Relief Fund. None of the money will go to Japan Society itself, which ensures that 100% of the funds go to organizations on the frontlines of relief and recovery in Japan. More info at http://www.japansociety.org/earthquake
