PHOTOS: Chloé Fêtes 60th Anniversary At The Palais De Tokyo In Paris
French house Chloé threw a massive bash last night at the Palais de Tokyo museum in Paris to kick of an exhibit called “Chloé: Attitudes” that showcases the label’s work over the last 60 years. Naturally, there were models everywhere, Karl Lagerfeld showed up, and everyone looked just smashing.
Chloé founder Gaby Aghion told WWD of the house, “I created the house just after couture, and all I ever wanted was for it to have a happy spirit, to make people happy.” And we think it’s safe to say that that goal was achieved at last night’s party. Gold and silver ballons filled the room, songstress Cécile Cassel performed, and everyone danced the night away. And of course, Lagerfeld, who was at the helm of the house from 1966 to 1983 and again from 1992 to 1997, had things to say about the exhibit:
“I’m not really into archives, so it will be fun to see. I don’t keep documents. In any case, Gaby Aghion told me the years she worked with me were the best years.”
He’s always so humble. Check out some photos from the event below!
