Which Supermodel Is Gunning For A Spot On Daytime TV?
The rumor mill is churning about Elizabeth Hasselbeck getting fired from The View, and Page Six now reports that a certain supermodel has her pretty blue eyes on the empty seat. Not content with three back-to-back SI Swimsuit covers being the height of her career, the iconic Christie Brinkley as apparently decided to turn her energies towards the female-centric talk show.
Brinkley is “lobbying hard for the job,” the source, who also says that the show needs to be “younged up fast.” And although the 80s model’s last foray into daytime TV came in the midst of her ugly divorce battle with ex Peter Cook (and ended in tears), she’s obviously done her fair share of the talk show circuit throughout her career.
