Bid On Tickets To A Chanel Couture Show, Save The Planet!

Fashion is pretty great on all its own, but fashion for a cause? That’s even better. Christie’s is in the midst of hosting its second annual “Bid to Save the Earth” Green Auction, and many a lustworthy item fills the catalog.

The purpose of the auction is to “raise funds and awareness for the preservation and sustainability of our planet,” with the proceeds benefitting Oceana, Natural Resources Defense Council, Conservation International and Central Park Conservancy. There is both a live and online component to the auction. The invite-only live auction will be held on March 29 in conjunction with Vogue‘s Runway to Green, but the online auction is open to the general public from now until April 7. Though bidding categories range from music to sports to food, allow us to highlight our five favorite fashion-related items.
