Christina Hendricks Shuts Down Interviewer Who Calls Her ‘Full-Figured’
For better or for worse, the bulk of profiles we’ve read on the topic of Christina Hendricks throw in a mention or two of her enviably curvaceous figure.
So while we aren’t entirely surprised that Kate Waterhouse, fashion editor for Australia’s Sun-Herald, asked the actress about being an “inspiration to full-figured women” during their interview, we’re not particularly impressed with her ingenuity either. Hendricks, as it turns out, was even less impressed, shutting down the question entirely and adding, off-camera:
“I think calling me full-figured is just rude.”
Waterhouse doesn’t hear her comment and proceeds to repeat the question, which, as you might imagine, makes for a pretty cringe-worthy clip.
Though on a positive note, doesn’t Hendricks looks awesome in those glasses?
