Claudia Schiffer Is Launching A Very Secret Clothing Line

Claudia Schiffer started a four-month break after the birthing and naming of her daughter in May (though she also could have been waiting for all that blackface controversy to blow over). And now, the model says she’s ready to get back in the game.

But when you’ve played the game so well and for so long and won so many of its prizes (over 500 magazine covers, feature film roles, the adoration of the entire German public) it can get a little boring. Or something. Which is why Schiffer wants to start a clothing line.

At the Salvatore Ferragamo show in Milan, the supermodel told WWD that her line — which will remain unnamed, thank you very much — is already in the works, and that she’ll launch it with an event next month. Again, where this event will be held, what might happen to its attendees and who those attendees might be are private matters. We’re left with a bunch of questions: Who is helping you get this plane off the ground, Schiff? Where will it be sold? Will the care labels be translated into English?

We’re not even sure what the line might include — though it’s more than likely that, because it’s Claudia Schiffer and because summer deliveries are basically right around the corner, there will be a bikini. Maybe even two.
