Claudia Schiffer Covers Vogue Deutsch, Still Rules The Glossies
Claudia Schiffer is a bona fide supermodel, meaning she is super…well, super. Last month we cooed over her awesome cover for Harper’s Bazaar UK, and this month we can’t stop staring at her delightfully styled Vogue Deutsch cover.
Miles Aldridge (brother to Lily, husband to Kristen McMenamy) shot Schiffer for the magazine’s “Made in Germany” issue. Though we can’t quite identify just whose designs she is wearing, our best guess is Chanel. Why? Because like Schiffer, Karl Lagerfeld was indeed “made in Germany”, and her lace eye mask recalls those from the house’s fall couture show. Needless to say, we’re digging the lace, and how you can just barely see Schiffer’s baby blues behind it. The almost-neon lip and shiny blonde waves are great too, as is the lack of text overlaid on the photo.
The cover is below, and as a bonus, we’ve also included a sneak peek at Schiffer’s new knitwear line.
As the supe explained to The Moment: “I wanted to make easy pieces that are practical yet chic. You know simple but well-cut dresses and tops that you can throw on with leggings and boots for the school run, and pair with a great pair of earrings or a cool cuff for dinner.”
