Celebrities flocked to the CNN Heroes tribute — an event celebrating “everyday people changing the world.” The special will air on CNN Thanksgiving night, but for now we have pictures from the star-studded red carpet.

1. Jessica Alba
Jessica's dress looked like two dresses in one — and we can't decide if that's a good or bad thing. A painterly print fabric in various shades of grey overlaid on a nude strappy number was accented by a chunky necklace and neutral heels.
2. Renée Zellweger
Renée wore a one-shouldered fuchsia Carolina Herrera dress. The tight frock was accented with a large bow across the chest. She accessorized with sparkly pumps.
3. Demi Moore
Demi's short navy number had an embellished neckline and fit like a glove. She wore navy peep-toe heels to match.
4. Emmy Rossum
Emmy wore a drapey belted Lela Rose dress. The entire ensemble had a Grecian feel — from the one-shouldered frock to the gladiator-inspired heels and gold jewelry.
5. AnnaLynne McCord
AnnaLynne McCord went a bit casual in a black long-sleeved Alice + Olivia dress with fox fur cuffs. She completed the look with a simple understated necklace and platform Louboutin sandals.
