PHOTOS: Who Was Best Dressed At The Directors Guild Awards?
What’s that, you ask? Another awards show? Yes, that’s right. While you were out painting the town red on Saturday night, Hollywood was fêting filmmaking’s behind-the-scenes stars at the 65th Annual Director’s Guild of America Awards.
The event brought out many familiar faces we’ve been seeing on red carpets right, left, and center as of late. Anne Hathaway finally chose a frock from wedding gown designer Valentino after selecting Chanel and Giambattista Valli for other recent events, and while we loved the heavily-beaded print and simple silhouette, we would have preferred a sleeker hairstyle. Also rocking a pixie cut was Girls‘ Lena Dunham, who paired her’s with a punchy Thakoon strapless dress and neutral peeptoes.
Our favorite look of the evening, however, had to be Jennifer Garner‘s trim Antonio Berardi dress, whose streamlined shape and winter white hue showed off her toned arms and perfect, rosy makeup.
