Doutzen Kroes Stars In Super Boring Vogue Paris Cover

Doutzen Kroes is on the cover of April’s Vogue Paris — and while Kroes is always a knockout, we’re not sure we’re feeling the vibe of this particular photo.

For one, Kroes looks weirdly diminutive under her loose Givenchy top. It’s so ill-fitting! Her face also looks a bit gaunt, like she’s sucking in her cheeks (when she obviously doesn’t need to). On top of that, the all-white backdrop is bland. Vogue Paris has always been one of the great avant-garde fashion tomes willing to take risks in its styling. Sure, we love the second-skin shimmer of the metallic pants and Doutzen’s tousled mane, but we wish the mag had amped up the drama as much as it did with Kate, Lara, and Sasha.
