  Definitely the best SNL skit last night. The reference for Mary, Sybil, and Edith as (“hot,” “way hot,” and “the other daughter” was so spot on (LMAO!!) I recalled the BBC parody of Downton also referred to  Edith as “the second daughter” without mentioning her name at all. Poor Edith, but she’s the daughter that got the least amount of attention in the show.

  Also loved the references for the downstairs staffs (tuxedo men?? very funny). The only slight disagreement here was Thomas being referred to as  the “mean guy” (the “evil guy” is better – as he’s commonly referred as “Thomas the evil footman.” But I loved the rest, and O’Brien being called the “super bitch” was so spot on!

  Love the final line….Don’t mess with the Dowager (Countess). It’s so true. Cannot wait until the SNL cast actually plays the Downton casts. I vote for Kristin Wiig as Mary, Vanessa Bayer as Edith, and Abby Elliott as Sybil.  Rachel Dratch cameo in as the Dowager Countess and Tina Fey as Countess Cora. It would’ve been so much fun IMO :-).

  i managed to survive only half episode of ‘downtown abbey’ as it was plain boring, but this makes show look quite entertaining :)

  This is really sad is this was the best SNL skit that night. This show (SNL) should’ve been put out of its misery in 1979! OYE
