WATCH: Duran Duran’s 9 Minute Long Supermodel Music Video Is Here!
Duran Duran’s much anticipated and highly teased video for their latest single, “Girl Panic” is finally here and, as promised, it stars a quintet of ’90s supermodels: Cindy Crawford, Eva Herzigova, Helena Christensen, Naomi Campbell, and Yasmin Le Bon (who is, it should be noted, married to frontman Simon). In a cute twist, the supers all play members of the band, with Campbell as Le Bon and Christensen stealing the show as hard-partying drummer Roger Taylor. The video clocks in at just under 10 minutes, so get ready.

Duran Duran band members make sneaky appearances throughout the video as reporters and bellboys, among other things, but our favorite part is the perfectly meta “making of the video” portion where the models actually perform as the band. Campbell has some serious lip-synching chops.
A few thoughts: we’re all about epic music videos but it feels longer than it needs to be. And while we love a good glossy tie-in, somehow the Harper’s Bazaar covershoot portion feels a little forced — though points for the Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana cameo!
