New Hires At Elle Will Fill Gaps In Robbie Myers’ Team
After a slew of departures this spring, the Elle masthead was starting to look pretty bare. Now, EIC Robbie Myers is slowly but surely filling those spots, starting with new hires Carmen Borgonovo and Lori Goldstein.
Borgonovo, formerly senior style editor at Harper’s Bazaar UK, has been tapped as a consulting editor, and Goldstein, a stylist, will join the team as fashion editor-at-large. Both of these hires are effective immediately, but neither are full-time positions. Also, neither Borgonovo or Goldstein is truly a replacement for one of last spring’s departures, as they aren’t filling the exact positions that were left open. Among those who left were accessories editors Kate Davidson Hudson and Stefania Allen, Style Director Kate Lanphear, and some of the Elle.com staff. However, Borgonovo’s main focus will be twice-yearly Elle Accessories, which was previously would have been the work of Davidson Hudson and Allen.
