Emma Watson in UK Vogue: I Didn’t Know I Was Worth $32M
We really want to be friends with Emma Watson. Besides being stunningly beautiful, incredibly stylish and notably talented, she’s also a super smart Ivy Leaguer who seems totally down-to-earth. Plus, she’s on the cover of December’s British Vogue, sporting her pixie ‘do as photographed by Mario Testino.
The Daily Telegraph got its hands on a copy of the issue, in which Emma recounts not having any clue just how much money she had until she was ready to go off to college. Up until that point, she received a weekly allowance of about $80.
“By the third or fourth film, the money was starting to get serious,” she said. “I had no idea. I felt sick, very emotional.”
The actress, 20, who was cast in Harry Potter at the age of nine, confessed to being “straight and boring” in an interview with the December issue of Vogue magazine.
She’s done little with her $32 million fortune, living like any other student at Brown University (we have friends who have seen her in the library!). But even with the paparazzi trailing her in Providence, she doesn’t allow herself to read the tabloids: “There’s tons that’s not very nice and I’m very, very self critical, so it was like a drug for me.”
Check out the cover below, as well as some of the other recent covers that showcase Watson’s shorn locks.
