Emma Watson is the latest to don one of Raf Simons’ creations for the house, a good bet considering almost every one of the previous outings, from Jessica Biel to Julianne Moore, has landed the wearer on a slew of best-dressed lists. Watson took a risk, though, on the silhouette, opting for the oh-so-trendy but undeniably tricky dress-over-pants look. And while the trousers could have been a tad slimmer on such a petite frame, the nipped waist, short hem, and minimal accessories keep the ensemble refined, modern, and fresh.

Also, this outfit earns bonus points for doing its job and staying in place for the whole evening, unlike the Giorgio Armani trapeze dress that malfunctioned at the NYC premiere.
