Erin Fetherston’s Met Gown Was Made From Juicy Velour
We loved designer Erin Fetherston’s shimmery gold look for last night’s Costume Institute Gala so much that we even gave her a spot on our best-dressed list. Which is why we were astonished to hear that the shiny caftan was made from actual Juicy velour — as in, the same material from whence those ubiquitous tracksuits came.
The piece was officially called “Bespoke Juicy Couture” and, we suppose, must be the first from Fetherston’s new gig as creative consultant for the line.
