POLL: Is Eva Mendes’ Valentino Dress Too Cutesy?

Last night, Eva Mendes fulfilled her duties as the new spokesperson for Vogue Eyewear by showing up at a launch party in Beverly Hills. While she didn’t wear cool specs for the step-and-repeat (though she donned a pair afterward), she did wear a pretty Valentino frock! But is the dress too cute for the actress? You decide.

Mendes opted for a short-sleeved yellow lace dress with partial pink bodice, and inexplicable maroon heels. We personally love the dress, but just not on Mendes because it was almost too cute for her. We’d much prefer to see the 39-year-old in something more grown up and sleek, but hey, that’s just us.
