Five Reasons We Love Rachel Zoe’s Husband
Rachel Zoe is one of our favorite people. She’s currently number one on our painstakingly devised ranking of stylists. And thanks to Bravo, we get a glimpse at the hilarity and stress of her daily life on The Rachel Zoe Project.
And we have to say, we really love Rachel’s husband, Rodger Berman. He’s the pragmatic, level-headed complement to Rachel’s fabulous outlandishness. Herein, five reasons we love Rachel Zoe’s husband.
1) His hair is awesome
We wish we had hair that was as well-conditioned, shiny and naturally beautiful as Rodgers. While our hair requires at least half an hour of wrangling with various products and a series of combs, we’re pretty sure Rodger just washes, dries, sweeps his bangs to the side and goes. Well, good for him. Good for him.
2) He took over his wife’s website on April Fool’s Day
Turns out, Rodger is a really funny guy. When he took over Rachel’s blog on April Fool’s Day, he wrote a hilarious tribute to his own awesome hair, complete with instructions on how to replicate the look and links to the products he uses to make it happen. He then jokingly encouraged his followers to tweet him the results, and reminded everyone that this was, in fact, a prank.
3) He put Rachel on a budget
We appreciate Rodger’s sensitivity to the economy and his challenging Rachel to prove that people can have great personal style at a low cost. Granted, Rachel’s budget and our budget are probably two drastically different things, but we still commend Rodger for taking one small step in the direction of the democratization of fashion.
4) He’s not an annoying reality TV husband
He’s supportive of his wife’s career. He’s doesn’t yell. He’s a productive, reliable member of society. He doesn’t hang out with Christian Audigier on the weekends. And really, when you compare that to some other reality TV husbands, what’s not to love?
5) He’s just a nice guy
We don’t know him personally, but we from what we can see, Rodger is an honest, kind, smart and funny guy. He seems like someone we’d get along with. And, at the end of the day, he’s the wind beneath the wings of one of our favorite people, so we’ve got to give him major snaps for that.
