PHOTOS: Who Was Best Dressed At The FNO Runway Show?
Last night, Manhattan’s most fashionable — and those who could afford tickets — converged on
Lincoln Center for Anna Wintour‘s “consumer-oriented” brainchild, Fashion’s Night Out: The Show. And while we have runway pics and photos of Pharrell and N.E.R.D.’s performance coming later, let’s take a look at who made the guest list and, more importantly, what they wore.
1.Anna Wintour and Bee Schaffer
We'd comment on the clothes, but we're too distracted by the awesome awkwardness of this photo.
Bar looks pretty, if a little plain in a teal drop-waist and ruffled-skirted dress.
You probably could have guessed as much, but Blake stunned in a saffron and black mini-dress from Marchesa. For what it's worth, she also sat side-by-side with Anna Wintour.
4.Diane von Furstenberg
Classic DvF. Pretty, flattering, and definitely comfortable. Also: it looks like something she could dance in, which we know is
very important to her.
We're not sure what to make of Moore's geometric look. The shift dress is an interesting risk, but those chunky shoes are like a sartorial black hole: they suck all the good right out of the outfit.
Best Dressed? No. Most comfortable? Yes. Exactly what most people wish they'd worn after walking up those Lincoln Center steps in 5-inch heels? Absolutely.
Leighton certainly doesn't play it safe, but her dress is too shiny, too blue, and suffering from a dearth of too little fabric. If only she'd stuck with a matte fabric or a less tacky color.
Olivia looks uncharacteristically somber and, unfortunately, dowdy here.
So dark, so unexciting.
that's how you wear a jumpsuit!
