Former ANTM Contestant Brandy Rusher Arrested
America’s Next Top Model contestants have been known to adapt some diva-like tendencies, which has normally meant great ratings for the show. But when the cameras stop rolling and the contestants still wear their on-air personas like a size-two shift dress, it can cause trouble.
Case in point: Season four contestant Brandy Rusher was arrested in Houston today, charged with misdemeanor resisting arrest. Houston’s ABC affiliate KTRK reported that police came knocking on Rusher’s door in response to a complaint about loud music. At some point, she pushed and shoved one of the officers, cursed at them and tried to run away.
Not the most graceful behavior, certainly, but not surprising. Rusher was eliminated in the third round of season four because of what the judges perceived to be a bad attitude. And to think, all she had to do was turn the music down.
