Fox News Host Says Female Anchors Are Picked From VS Catalog
The strange things that happen on Fox News don’t really faze us anymore, but somehow, anchors and show hosts still manage to do things that raise our eyebrows. On Friday’s radio show Fox & Friends with Brian Kilmeade and Gretchen Carlson, a nice listener called in to compliment Alisyn Camerota, a Fox anchor who was filling in for Carlson. What happened next is nothing short of sexist.
After the male caller tells the hosts that the women of Fox rock, Camerota joked that it was actually Kilmeade who was responsible for getting overly made-up and coiffed ladies on the network. To which Kilmeade responded:
“It was actually, we go into the Victoria’s Secret catalog and we said, ‘Can any of these people talk?’ And they all could and they all went to college.”
