Full Figured Fashion Week Is Back For A Fourth Run
Little by little, the fashion industry is beginning to accept curvier bodies. Plus-size fashion spreads are slowly gaining popularity, and New York’s Full Figured Fashion Week is back for the fourth year in a row. Right on!
Events are scheduled for today through Saturday, and won’t be limited to plus-size-only lines. FFFW shows will feature some of the same designers as New York Fashion Week, including Michael Kors and Ralph Lauren.
It’s about time the world of clothing for full-figured women was recognized for being the powerhouse it is — the plus-size apparel market is worth a whopping $17 billion. Here’s to a more inclusive fashion industry!
