Gareth Pugh’s Insane Ballet Costume Is Blowing Our Minds

Gareth Pugh has dressed the likes of Lady Gaga and Beyoncé, as well as designed one of the coolest wedding dresses ever, and now he’s lent his considerable talent to the ballet.

Pugh made the costumes for the new Wayne Gregor production Carbon Life, which just so happened to be scored by fellow cool kid Mark Ronson. And what he came up with was NUTS. He says the dancers haven’t had any issues with the nontraditional costumes and that the restrictive-looking shoe is “made in such a way the foot can do everything that it needs to do”. Whatever you say, Gareth.
