Lagerfeld Wastes No Time, Shoots Georgia Jagger For Cruise Ads
I’ve always thought myself a pretty productive member of society — a Puritan work ethic and all of that. But Karl Lagerfeld just makes me feel like a total sloth. We’ve barely had a week to collect our drool from the covetable St. Tropez parade that was his Cruise collection and the man has already shot the accompanying advertising campaign. Does he ever sleep?
Well, before he’s on to the next we thought we’d take a moment to pause over the soon to be published snaps of Georgia May cruising with Baptise Giabiconi and a Rolls Royce — which also got some face time in Herr’s short film. Got to love when Karl economizes.
Anyway, the gist seems to be gorgeous girl, Chanel froth, and a shiny car. In fact, be it not for the man-candy eyeing Miss Jagger in all her gap toothed, sequined-tap short gorgeousness, we might have mistaken this thing for an upscale calendar — on second thought, maybe it is. Killing two birds, perhaps?
Guess when the clock is a ticking and you’ve cast a model who has final exams to study for and a career that is exploding like an Icelandic volcano, you’ve just got to go with a formula that works. Can’t say we don’t appreciate his promptness.
