Gisele’s $20 Million Mega Mansion Is Finally Complete
Gisele might not be a billionaire (yet) but the Brazilian supermodel sure lives like one. She and her football-playing husband Tom Brady just finished construction on a $20 million home in California, and are all moved in and getting settled.
The Daily Mail reports that the 22,000 square foot, eight-bedroom home is outfitted with a monster swimming pool shaped like a lagoon, a six-car garage and enough plush features to make even the snootiest real estate expert squeal with glee. Brady gets his own weight room, their 2-year-old son Benjamin gets what is the coolest nursery (next to Blue Ivy Carter’s, anyway), and Gisele gets, well, everything else. (Everything else includes a wine cellar, an elevator and a skybridge that connects the two structures that actually make up the house.)
Brady, the handsome and handsomely paid quarterback of the New England Patriots, and Bundchen bought the land the house sits on for $11 million in 2008, and have been building their mega-mansion on it ever since. It seems extravagant — and it is — but they’re both at the top of their fields, and Gisele is the world’s highest paid model, so we’re sure they won’t have any trouble keeping up with the mortgage. That is, if they didn’t already pay for the whole thing in cash.
Anyway, the couple are busy settling into the neighborhood as we type. Former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Heidi Klum and her husband Seal live nearby, as does the actress Bridget Moynahan, who is the mother of Brady’s 4-year-old son John.
Welcome to the neighborhood, guys! We hope you and all your money will be very, very happy there.
