Golden Globes 2010: Fashion Hits and Misses
Chloe Sevigny wore a waterfall of a dress. It is difficult to criticize anything Valentino creates, but the color was a muted version of the lavender the rest of Hollywood wore tonight and the shape was, well, nonexistent.
Heidi Klum’s Cavalli dress was a huge disappointment. Usually Klum is a favorite on the red carpet, but her grayish blue gown was strangely gathered on the lower bodice, causing it to be a bit unflattering, even on the beautiful model.
Julianne Moore, your date was Tom Ford. How could you have done so poorly? Moore’s two toned black off the shoulder dress was without shape and awkwardly hung. Earrings on the other hand, had they been paired with a better dress, would have been show stoppers.
Perry Reeves, Jeremy Piven’s on screen wife on Entourage, decided to wear an Herve Leger black and aqua bondage dress. Why? Was Intermix the only store open when she was shopping for a Golden Globe’s dress? Reeves wins for the most unoriginal dress of the evening.
Drew Barrymore’s Atelier Versace gown had one creature too many. Despite Barrymore’s flawless makeup, the color was unflattering and cause her to look washed out and bland.
