PHOTOS: Who Was Best Dressed At The 2013 Golden Globes?

Before we go any further, let’s just acknowledge that Marion Cotillard had the best look of the night. Draped in a scarlet Dior (surprise!) dress custom designed for her by Raf Simons, the Dark Knight Rises star managed to look modern, natural, and drop-dead gorgeous in one sleek fell swoop. But that isn’t to say she wasn’t given a run for her money on the evening’s red carpet.

A few highlights: Kerry Washington continued her sartorial domination in a crystal-embellished, sheer champagne gown by Miu Miu, while Julianne Moore’s oh-so-predictable Tom Ford creation both stunned and surprised with its simplicity.

If we had our way, Ariel Winter in neon-embroidered Valentino would be immortalized in the dictionary next to “age-appropriate”, sparkly headband notwithstanding.

And finally, Anne Hathaway, as effervescently (and perhaps irritatingly) earnest as her Best Supporting Actress acceptance speech was, looked the epitome of effortless in a structured white Chanel dress from (believe it or not) the label’s 2009 couture collection.

Take a look at the rest of our picks below and let us know who we missed in the comments.
