Grace Coddington’s Memoir Sold For A Seven Figure Sum

It looks like the highly-anticipated Grace Coddington memoir is coming along just fine. Word is the Vogue creative director has sold her autobiography to Random House for $1.2 million.

There had been some speculation as the whether the book was happening ever since Coddington lost her co-author Jay Fieldon earlier this year, but this sale confirms the deal is still on.

We’re pretty excited since there’s sure to be some juicy deets on Anna, as well as stories about Coddington’s days as a model and that time she quit British Vogue.

Rumor has it Fieldon, who saved the first drafts of the memoir from a fire that destroyed his home, will be replaced by Vogue writer Michael Roberts.

The seven figure sale tells lets us know that Coddington’s work is a little closer to publishing and a little closer to beating Anna Wintour’s alleged memoir onto our shelves.
