Heidi Klum Says She Is ‘In Love’ With Her Bodyguard

Just eight months after saying auf Wiedersehen to Seal, Heidi Klum is on to the next.

In an interview with German magazine Bunte, Klum spilled about her relationship with her ~~beefcake~~ bodyguard of four years, Martin Kirsten, saying “Ja! Ich bin verliebt!”, which translates to “Yes! I’m in love!”

She also talked about how he’s great with her four young kids, Leni, Henry, Johan, and Lou:

“They like him very much. This is also one reason why I’m so fond of him. He’s been helping me for four years now. And he takes wonderful care of the kids. He plays with them, he protects them. I trust him.”

While there have been more than whispers of Klum and Kirsten getting cozy in the past, the couple have, until now, kept a very low profile — here’s why, according to Klum:

“Martin is not hiding. He’s just not the sort of guy looking for the spotlight. He prefers to stay in the background. There will always be people who will criticize whoever I live with, what kind of clothes I wear or what hairstyle I have. At the end of the day, you have to do what makes you happy. That’s the rule I live by.”
