Did Angela Lindvall Replace Heidi Klum On Project Runway?
What’s Project Runway without Heidi Klum? Well, we’re about to find out on Project Runway All-Stars, which Klum will not host. Though she will still appear onscreen for the remainder of season 9, she isn’t filming the new show in New York with the rest of the cast. Apparently, Klum had disagreements with the production company over financial matters.
A Project Runway rep confirmed, “There will be a new host and there will be new judges, which we will release later,” but “Heidi is not leaving Project Runway.”
Phew! So who will Klum’s short-term replacement be on the spin-off series be? Though meetings between Miranda Kerr and Harvey Weinstein suggested the Victoria’s Secret Angel as host, rumors point to Angela Lindvall.
In mid-July, Lindvall blogged, “Here I am in New York City! I landed a huge opportunity that will have me here for a month. Have to keep it top secret for now …”
Back then one might have assumed this was a modeling project, but it looks like this is a bit different from her usual posing gigs. Though we’ll miss Klum (again, only temporarily), we can’t wait to see Lindvall on this interpretion of one of our favorite shows.
