You Should See What H&M Did To This Model’s Face

And just when we thought we were going to make it through an entire week without seeing any missing limbs or whittled torsos, comes this H&M product shot featuring the soon to be infamous Model Without A Face.

It’s a testament to H&M’s retoucher that the first two things we noticed about this image were actually her gumby-esque leg and awkwardly posed hand. But once we, um, saw the missing face, well, the game was over.

And on that note, we’re out. (Just like this model’s face.)

uuuuh, or it’s the BACK of the DRESS

    That’s really scary looking…

  • Secretivity

The image in question is digitally generated, rather than a real
photograph or the product of someone manually piecing it together in
photoshop. It’s not a classic photoshop error at all. This is an error
in a interactive virtual model software system. You can mix and
match clothing to make different outfits. The model is entirely fake
(apart from the face), the clothes are all photographed
separately and then composited into the actual image on the site when
the user chooses the items. Obviously, bugs happen. With over 1 million
    combinations, there can be errors.

Please visit http://www.hm.com/dressingroom to see it in action, or go to http://looklet.com to see the concept played out with more than just clothes from H&M.
