Clever Street Artist Critiques H&M Photoshop Abuse

Now this is how you call someone out for Photoshop abuse.

A street artist in Hamburg, Germany has made an incredibly clever statement by putting Photoshop toolbar boxes on top of H&M swimsuit ads. Whether it be a response to those too tan claims or a general critique of overzealous retouching, it’s super smart.

    That is awesome.

Nice way to remind men and women who view these ads that they are not accurate representation of real bodies.

I get it yet it’s not brilliant. There are plenty of people this lovely shade they’re simply not caucasian. If they wanted someone this color they H&M should have got someone this color instead of the obvious bad photoshop job. However I think that ads that showcase women of all sorts that are made skinnier and bonier than they actually are. People as thin as they are in most ads are a smaller demographic than people this shade of brown.

My point is that this point could have been made much clearer. I really didn’t get what he/she was trying to say initially.

uf, she has a beautiful body man! Is there any law against Photoshop abuse? I hope not.

No, but it is super hurtful for girls’ self images.  MissRep.  Look it up.
