Saturday Night Live finally caught on to the Hunger Games craze, but it was too little, too late.

Sofia Vergara plays Maria Guttierez (couldn’t they have given her one of those weird Panem names like Caesar Flickerman or Effie Trinket?), an overly enthusiastic field correspondent at the Games. Her best line? ”They should call it the Funger Games, because everyone is having so much fun!” Yeah, the whole thing falls a little flat. And then Katniss kills her.
