i-D‘s Grace Coddington Cover Is A Sight To Behold

We truly didn’t think it was possible to one-up Dazed and Confused‘s Iris Apfel cover, but by golly i-D might just have done it!

The London-based glossy landed none other than Vogue creative director Grace Coddington for the cover of their “Wise Up” issue, along with an inside interview with editor in chief Terry Jones to promote her upcoming memoir.

Grace’s shot was taken by Arthur Elgort, and on it Grace gives the mag’s signature wink in a bright blue Céline coat. The pin at her collar is a cat (!) of some sort, which we think might just be a nod to her own feline Pumpkin. The cover is one of eight, so we’re feeling a little sorry for the other seven stars who are clearly going to be wildly outshone at the newsstand.

The issue drops November 22nd, which means you really have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving:
